Unfortunately, I found the frequency of the shuttle service to be lacking, with waits of up to two hours, which could be improved.

My experience at Mercure was mostly positive. The cleanliness of the rooms impressed me every day, making my stay comfortable. Breakfast offered a variety of healthy options, including freshly made omelettes. The shuttle service to Haram operated punctually. it alleviated any transportation stress. cleanliness in common areas, like the corridors, could use improvement. I also noticed that the front desk staff had difficulty managing reservations. I had a problem with my room allocation, which led to some delays. Lastly, the bathroom facilities need upgrading, as I faced issues with shower drainage and water temperature.

Recommend it for families
We stayed for 9 nights , and I can't stress how impressed I was with the really good experience we had! The food was not just tasty, but focused on health, making it easier to keep the kids on a good diet. Plus, Baker and Khalid, attending to our needs as if we were family.
It wasn't exactly cheap , but I guess you get what you pay for.

The shuttle service to the Haram offers a solid solution to transportation woes, making it easy to plan your trips. The classic double room feels cozy, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploration.
Walking to the Haram might not be for everyone, as it can feel a bit far once you arrive at the bus station. Breakfast options could also be hit or miss, with some guests facing issues like misunderstandings over meal allowances and unprofessional interactions with the kitchen staff.

The shuttle service was super convenient, and I loved how cozy the classic double room felt. I enjoyed some relaxation time at the pool and the wellness center, which were both nice spots to chill. The only downside was a little lingering smell in the room that was quickly addressed, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 😊

The location was decent for accessing local attractions. The view from the room was also a nice touch, giving a glimpse of the surrounding area.
Unfortunately, the washroom had a persistent odor. the drainage system seemed off, and using air fresheners was just a band-aid. I had to deal with a clogged sink and found minimal cleaning had been done during our stay. The amenities, like towels and paper, could definitely use some upgrades.

Room for Improvement Despite Nice Staff
Staff at the reception were accommodating, but housekeeping fell short. The sink in our room was clogged, and we found only minimal cleaning had been done. Families should check room cleanliness upon arrival. Make sure to inform staff of any issues right away!
